SCULPTING WORKSHOP IN LYON:
BODY MAQUETTE AND HAND GESTURE

WORKSHOP CONTENT
?? Romain Van den Bogaert will share with the students his process to design and sculpt a full body maquette. We will talk about armature building, types of clay and figure and hand gesture.
?? Students will learn how to follow a structured sculpting process and learn body proportions and anatomy.
?? Anatomy and design will be discussed using educational references and examples.
?? The course is designed to meet the needs of beginners and experienced sculptors.
?? Romain’s personal miniature and sculpture range available onsite as well as educational anatomy references

It includes modeling clays (Super sculpey or Chavant NSP), plinth, armature, solvants, glue, educationnal references

Make a 40 ? deposit to secure your spot. The balance will be due on site.

SCULPTING TOOLSETS

You have to bring your own tools, as they are not provided during the workshop.

If you begin and you don’t have appropriate tools, Romain sells complete toolsets for 30 ?. You can easily secure one, prior to the course (here). These toolsets are strongly recommended, as they are perfectly adapted for the scale and type of clays Romain is using in his workshops.

MATERIALS/SUPPLIES
All materials are provided for use during the workshop (clay, plinth, armature, solvants, glue, educationnal references), except tools and lighting setup.

We recommand to bring crayolas, pencils and a notebook

We also recommand to take a box to protect your sculpture at the end of the workshop
